Project description
Due to the lack of drinking water from the municipality's own springs, a transport pipeline was constructed to enable water to be supplied from the neighbouring municipality. It had to be ensured that the drinking water was transported in parts at a limited flow rate to the Buch water supply network, if possible under its own pressure, but also pumped in case of emergencies.
In addition, a new elevated tank was built due to the lack of an extinguishing water supply, and an existing tank also had to be rehabilitated for hygiene reasons. In order to cover the extinguishing water supply in accordance with standards, it was necessary to construct numerous ring connections and increase the sizes of pipes in the pipeline.
